could everyone please pray for clement weather on saturday.  rain is lovely, water is good but we just want a nice dry hour or two out there for you.  a ray of sunshine would be best.

 

and no one is allowed to contract swine flu.

dear dancers,

thank you, thank you, thank you!   i've had such fun making this piece and i have no doubt it's going to be great on saturday.  i am so utterly impressed with the commitment everyone has brought to this and the ways you are helping each other - going over movement phrases in the breaks etc - it's a joy!

 

like bec said today - a big group dancing together -  it's humans at their best.  (she was quoting someone else i think...) 

 

have a great week.  think over the dance when you get a spare moment, on the tram, in the shower (not for too long though, we are in a drought), as you're eating your breakfast - and then on saturday when we all see each other again - it will be tighter and brighter than ever.

Its crunch time! There's one more rehearsal and then the big day will be upon us. It's amazing to see all the dancers giving their all in every rehearsal and having such a fantastic time. It's been a fantastic experience for both of us, to see such a fusion of skills brought together to literally move one hundred! Thankyou for all your hard work and commitment to the project and for making it an experience that the two of us will never forget. So lets get our kick ball change/body rolls on and show Melbourne that the Pussycat Dolls aren't the only ones that can shake it!

pretty excited by what i just saw on the video of last sunday's rehearsal!  (my high pitched squawking is annoying though - sorry about that dancers).  full of anticipation for our final run this weekend.  really looking forward to finishing it and seeing all the groups doing their thing.  it'll be great to do it outside.

Dear 100 Movers

thank you for your great dancing and vibrant energy over the past two rehearsals - and the pools of sweat gathering on our well trodden dance floor!  it's been energising and refreshing to see so many people come to dance together.  you're all looking great, working your butts off to get those moves down and obviously having a lovely time of it.  so, 3 rehearsals to go... nothing left but to practice and practice.  maybe grab a pal from the group to go through some stuff together.  check out the video online as a great virtual version of us to be there with you.
