Moving One Hundred is a project of Chunky Move and Ausdance Victoria in association with contemporarydance.com.au. This site will be a window into the development of the work with blogs, video interviews and other content coming online soon and being updated regularly once rehearsals start on 10 May. Moving One Hundred will be performed at Federation Square on Saturday 6 June at 2.15pm and again at 3.00pm as the closer to the 2009 Australian Dance Awards Public Program. About Ausdance Victoria
Ausdance Victoria is the Victorian office of the Australian Dance Council - Ausdance, Australia's service organisation and peak body for dance. Originally established in 1977 as the Australian Association for Dance Education, the organisation was set up by prominent dancers and dance educators to support the dance sector's development.
Ausdance Victoria's current focus is raising awareness, understanding and appreciation of dance in Victoria; and supporting dance professionals to develop their practice. We are doing this through major activities including the Australian Dance Awards and associated Public and Industry Programs, dance in education programs and partnerships, dance development in regional Victoria, advocacy, and information services, including setting up the first Victorian Dance Directory.
