So You Think You Can Dance 09

THe second Australian season of So You Think You Can Dance closely follows the format of the previous year with some improvements. An appearance by Nigel Lythgoe (judge from the US series) boosted the auditions though he also showed up the lack of depth in the Australian judging panel. The choreography seems to have improved and the costumes have definitely improved. And an early appearance by the Sydney Dance Company demonstrated that the show's producers are starting to take the dance community seriously.

We look forward to a great 2009 season.
