There are a number of Australia magazines and journals which cover contemporary dance in Melbourne.
Some, like Dance Australia, include coverage of contemporary dance along with other dance forms, particularly ballet. Dance Australia recently won the Award for Services to Dance at the Australian Dance Awards.
Others, like RealTime, cover contemporary arts, including dance. RealTime has a particularly useful online presence, with some articles only appearing online.

Dance Australia is a print magazine covering contemporary dance, ballet, musical theatre and dance education. The magazine is produced six times a year.
In 2008 Dally Messenger and Karen van Ulzen from Dance Australia won the Award for Services to Dance at the Australian Dance Awards.
